This week, I have enjoyed learning about two things: writing my core values statements and doing the deconstructing of my fears activity. Writing about my core values statements was one of the helpful things I have done in this course. It made me recall a personal activity my Mission President have asked us as missionaries to do in order to become better persons. He called it the "three S" activité. The activity was about taking paper and writing on it statements about your habits in the mission field. In the first part, we had to write three specifics things that we commit to "STOP" doing and in the second part, write three specifics things we commit to "START". In the "STOPS" list, you should write all the bad things you used to do and in the "START" write all the good things you did not yet start to do. This activity was of great help for me because it helped me develop habits that help me finish my mission with honor. That activity is still helping me right now because I am still doing what I committed to start to do. Just like the "three S" activity, I am confident that writing my core values statements will be of great help throughout my entrepreneurial journey. It will help me focus on my goals and the way I am planning to reach them. Another lesson I have enjoyed learning this week was about the deconstruction of my fears activity. In this activity, I have had a precise and clear overview of my fears. The activity made me deeply ponder about what I really feared. Sometimes, you don't exactly what your fears are until you take time to deeply think about what you don't want to happen in your life. This activity did not only focused on what your fears are but also and more important on what you can do to mitigate them if they happen. Since we cannot control all the circumstances of our life, there will certainly be times when our will are not always what happens. And being able to deal with such situations is a key of a successful entrepreneur. I am always excited at the beginning of each week because I know I will learn valuable lessons in this course.
