This week, I was very happy about what happened in my Entrepreneur Course. I am feeling great joy in my heart while I am editing this post. I have always wanted to pursue a university education all my life. When I got my high school diploma, I stopped going to school because there was not enough money for that. I started doing some small works just to avoid idleness. After one year I decided to go serve a full-time mission. The Lord sent me to serve in the Benin Cotonou Mission. There, people did not speak English, rather, they do speak French. I even started to learn English and throughout my mission, I have learned it. In the mission field, I heard about a church university called BYU. I then started to make researches on it and became very interested in attending it. While I did not know exactly how I will attend it, but my hope was big. After the mission field, the Lord gave the opportunity for members in my country to participate in the Pathway program. I applied and followed the one year program until succeeding it. Now I am a BYU-Idaho student. When I look back, I can still remember the times I was looking for ways to have high education in this university. Far to be pretentious, I am very proud of me. The reason why I am sharing this is that of what I learned this week. We have a study case about a certain Magdalena Yesil. I was impressed by what she did throughout her career since her young age. She had a dream since her young age and she did all she could to reach that goal. I know I am following that same pattern and knowing that someone else has already done the same and has succeeded make me feel happy and give me the courage to go on. The story of this woman will help me keep working hard toward my goal. And I am just saying something to myself: If she was able to succeed that means I can also succeed.
